Putting Down My Dying Cat

One of the most difficult decisions I had to make is putting down my pet "Rocky" due to cancer. Rocky is a male Cheetoh and was only 7 yrs old. This video documents the process of putting down a cat and how I dealt with the situation. I was not prepared for this at all. I hope pet owners would understand what can happen to their beloved pets and learn from mistakes made in this video.
These are a few words written by the kids " Dear Rocky, we will always love you and we pray one day we will meet and live together in heaven. You will be missed. You loved us all unconditionally, your love comforted us during difficult times, you hold a special place in our hearts. If you were mistreated in any way please forgive us. Your spirit lives on forever. We thank God for having you in our lives and thank you for loving us all unconditionally. RIP Rocky.

This video is dedicated to Rocky. Please help share this video with as many pet owners as possible. The goal is to raise awareness to help pet owners to avoid making the same mistakes I made with Rocky.
1st Take your pet/s to the vet as soon as you notice anything unusual with their behavior. and 2nd make sure you seek a 2nd and 3rd opinions before rushing to put your pet/s down. I have to live with my mistakes and hope no one has to.

At 8:50am Rocky was humanely euthanized and this video shows his last moments before the drugs took effect. Rocky passed peacefully with me on his side comforting him.
