A long long time ago, ☺️ I adopted my little ball of happiness- Tazz, and my life turned a complete 360!

The story of how we met🥺♥️:
Tazz is a golden cocker retriever, which is a cross between a cocker spaniel and a golden retriever.

He was left on the streets of Vile Parle in Mumbai, and was rescued by Mrs Nandini Rege(who is an animal rescuer🙏🏻)
During that time, I was looking at adopting a puppy because I’ve been dreaming of getting one since I was a kid! But my dad would never agree because he said the usual “it’s either the dog or you”🤣

One December, I was diagnosed with Malaria and was in a very critical condition. At that time, my dad asked me to get well quickly so we could get a dog! I was so happy! 😄 and in the next two months we had Tazz with us🥰

Tazz is Tarzan’s nickname btw😛He is my little boy with the most lovely heart on this planet 😢 he loves me and my family unconditionally and we cannot imagine a life without him😘🥰😍
He is also sooo well behaved, so full of love and affection, and is also super smart. The best part about adopting your pet is that they will be so grateful, they will express it every-single-day they’re in your lives.

They don’t forget. They know that you’re their saviour and will love you so much, you’ll find it hard to ever find a human who’d love you as much🤣 believe me, I’ve started to compare!🤣

But all that said and done, please try to adopt, and you’ll have the best karma for the rest of your life. ♥️

I wrote this song one day, with there was no power supple and all my equipment shut down, I had nothing to do, no phone, no laptop. Just me in my house with the ukulele!
That’s when I wrote this, and knew the world had to feel this too♥️

Nonprofit organization seeks to improve Jackson Animal Shelter.
Since October, the Jackson Animal Shelter has been closed due to several maintenance and staffing issues.
However, there is hope for the shelter.
Nonprofit organizations are trying to help improve the shelter, despite slow moving city leaders.
“As a state capital, it should be a shining example for the entire state,” Senior Strategist for Best Friends Animal Society - East Region, Lisa Barrett said.
For nearly 3 months, the Jackson Animal Shelter has been closed for business.
However, before it shut it’s doors, help was offered.

Best Friends, a nonprofit animal welfare organization, offered up to $300,000 worth of free services.
“After our assessment, we did come back with an offer of embedding our best friend staff into the shelter, to help them with cleaning protocols, standard operational procedures, whatever they would need,” Barrett said.

Groups claiming to adopt out pets aren't in compliance with tax law. David Goldstein reports.

A large mix-breed dog killed a woman and injured another on Thursday at the 100+ Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Florida shelter in Oakland Park, deputies said.

Rather than showing off our houses, we are showing off our furry friends at Barkhaus! Thank you to those who came to our Wardman Residential Yappy Hour and helped us raise money for an amazing cause!

Through our raffle and our donation options, we were able to raise $450 during our event and Wardman Residential matched these donations to get to our total of $900 that will go to Lost Dog and Cat Rescue and Gray Face Acres Senior Dog Rescue!

We wanted to give a huge thanks to Barkhaus in Alexandria, where we were able to combine all of our teams favorite things into one event! With a handful of food options, on and off leash dog play areas, a variety of craft beers and other drinks, a large space for all of our attendees and a wonderful staff that helped run our event, this place was perfect!
