One of the most difficult decisions I had to make is putting down my pet "Rocky" due to cancer. Rocky is a male Cheetoh and was only 7 yrs old. This video documents the process of putting down a cat and how I dealt with the situation. I was not prepared for this at all. I hope pet owners would understand what can happen to their beloved pets and learn from mistakes made in this video.
These are a few words written by the kids " Dear Rocky, we will always love you and we pray one day we will meet and live together in heaven. You will be missed. You loved us all unconditionally, your love comforted us during difficult times, you hold a special place in our hearts. If you were mistreated in any way please forgive us. Your spirit lives on forever. We thank God for having you in our lives and thank you for loving us all unconditionally. RIP Rocky.

This video is dedicated to Rocky. Please help share this video with as many pet owners as possible. The goal is to raise awareness to help pet owners to avoid making the same mistakes I made with Rocky.
1st Take your pet/s to the vet as soon as you notice anything unusual with their behavior. and 2nd make sure you seek a 2nd and 3rd opinions before rushing to put your pet/s down. I have to live with my mistakes and hope no one has to.
Please share my short story with as many pet owners.
At 8:50am Rocky was humanely euthanized and this video shows his last moments before the drugs took effect. Rocky passed peacefully with me on his side comforting him.

Pet memorials have grown to be a significant occasion considering that pets are also regarded as part of the family. If you decide to go through with this process you may either speak to your local veterinarian or an expert cremator. Choosing an urn is much like picking a funeral stone, you then have a choice to add your pet's paw or claw outside the urn or if you're feeling sentimental, you can use your pet's photo to decorate the actual urn that are seen a lot in lots of pet memorials.

Regardless of what happens, your pet will always be part of your life and remembering them with these various services is a way to have their precious memory in existence. Similar to a regular memorial, saying a few words about how excellent your pet was can help you feel better about its death. Ask members of the family to share stories about your pet during pet memorials.
