How to Help Stray Animals: World Stray Animals Day - Today's Biggest News
Today is a day about the stray animals of the world - World Stray Animals Day. We sent Liv along to chat to the Animal Welfare League, which is an organisation that takes in strays and helps them find a home.
The little guysat the Animal Welfare League are looking for their forever homes, but there are a heaps of animals that never get that chance.
A lot of them live on the streets as strays.
Around the world there are 600 million stray animals.
Life can be really tough for them, they're often sick and hungry and can spread diseases and they can also cause a lot of problems for native animals and the environment.
In fact, it's estimated that feral cats kill more than a million birds in Australia, every day!

ROYALS SET AN INSTA RECORD
Being an instafamous star looks pretty glamorous but it's also hard work.
Getting followers can take a long time - unless you're a royal.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, aka Prince Harry and Meghan, started an account yesterday and already have 3 million followers!
They smashed the record for the fastest time to get a million followers, just five hours and 45 minutes.
The person who held the record before them was K-Pop star Kang Daniel.
It took him more than 11 hours.

EXPLOSIVE PLANS FOR ICY WATER
Blowing stuff up to keep people safe sounds a bit strange, but that's what's happening in China right now.
Explosives were put under the ice at the Hei-long-jiang River and then detonated, which made for a pretty speccy show for tourists.
The explosion's supposed to prevent the risk of a flood as the weather gets warmer and the ice melts.

SIX YEAR OLD SURFING STAR
The world's best surfers are battling it out on the Gold Coast this week as the World Surf League kicks off and one young surfer in particular has stolen the show.
Her name is Leihani Kaloha Zoric and she's only six and a half and she's a Yued girl.
And she's also a pretty great surfer!
She's been surfing since the day she was born - seriously!
Leihani Zoric says: "I learnt how to surf because you've got to practice heaps every day and you've got to practice in all kinds of conditions."
This week she put her skills to the test at the Juraki Team Challenge surfing event on the Gold Coast.
Eight junior surfers joined up with a professional mentor for the comp and Leihani and Rookie of the Year Macy Callaghan came third!
She says that her parents are super supportive of her career.
"My mum's really good, she's so good, and she's really helpful and my dad's good at surfing and doing airs and making them and he's nice as well," Leihani said.
So what's Leihani's plan for the future?
"I want to do surfing and I want to beat my brother, hopefully!" she said.

He sussed out the perfect spot, managed to lean back and grab the ball, before executing a perfect somersault.

D'you know what animal this is?
It's called a Tapir.
It's kinda like cross between a pig and an elephant, a combo that is somehow actually pretty cute.
This one's name is Arturo.
He lives at the Melbourne Zoo, and he loves a good rake scratch.
